Strength & Conditioning for Middle School and High School Students

The focus is to establish a strong understanding of the foundational barbell lifts (i.e. squat, dead lift, bench press). We use safe and progressive instruction so that any middle school or high school student can learn these movements, regardless of their experience level. For many of our students, this is their first time in the weight room and we love it that way as we seek to equip them for the future of their sport. In order for any athlete to reach their full potential, a safe and sound strength & conditioning program is an absolute must.

In addition to the foundational lifting movements, we also spend about 30% of our time developing speed and explosive power. We coach optimal sprint technique and increase horsepower through the use of sleds, medicine balls, and plyometric training.

Facilities:

Training will take place at the newly built Emerald Youth Sansom Sports Complex at 234 Dale Ave. Furnished by Legends Fitness, the complex offers all the latest in performance training.
